Tence Inzetbureau experienced solid growth, thanks to its activities in logistics and production picking up, the retention of major clients and a focus in the area of sales on new, medium-sized clients. Its EBIT recovered to double the 2009 figure. Price pressure can be observed from major clients, however.
To improve the added value offered to its clients, Tence has refined its offering. By paying greater attention to and showing an increased understanding of the chain of which it forms part, as well as taking greater responsibility for this chain, Tence should be able to improve the quality and quantity of matching as well as the service provided. In 2010 Tènce! also began a collaboration with Hago. Together they are aiming to offer employees more attractive prospects on the labour market.
Thanks to the improving economy and the fact that its clients had a fundamental need for flexibility, Tence Payroll also experienced growth. To strengthen its payroll activities, Vebego also acquired payroll company Zember in 2010. Tence Payroll and Zember complement each other both in terms of their operations and geographic spread. Both companies are being integrated into a new organization that will be directed by Zember’s management.
Hands To Work also benefited from the economic recovery. In addition, the restructuring measures taken last year bore their first fruit. Hands To Work improved its ability to analyze clients’ processes and offer them economically attractive solutions based on these analyses. The contracts it subsequently secured, combined with an increase in new clients, saw its turnover rise by over 50%. Its EBIT also climbed in parallel.
