Alpheios Nederland achieved modest growth in 2010. Its growth was held back by a fall in internal sales to Vebego companies as a result of the more efficient use of machines and resources. Turnover from other clients grew, however. EBIT remained at the 2009 level. As Alpheios plans to expand its offering to the healthcare sector over the coming years, an advisory board has been set up for this purpose.
In 2010 Alpheios won the Interclean Innovation Award for its Sustainability Scan. This scan forms part of Alpheios’ offering and analyzes the aims and ambitions of organizations in the area of sustainable and efficient cleaning.
Products & Systems
Alpheios’ turnover in Belgium remained stable in a slightly shrinking market and it posted a result in line with its 2009 figure. Adrem achieved growth. The warehouse and administrative functions of Alpheios and Adrem were also integrated in 2010.
Products & Systems grew by over 7% last year. This can be attributed to the acquisition of Adrem Cleaning in mid-2009. The turnover of this acquisition was included for a full year in 2010. EBIT developed in line with turnover.
